- getting started

I have been on this site for a month or so now and would like to know how I

can go about getting detailed info about and getting a program

started.

Is there someone that helps set up programs? Or someone that does

assessment, etc?

My son is 11 - very verbal, very social (but often inappropriate - like

there is a girl he likes and he will compliment her and say, " Your hair

looks nice. or I like your shirt " . She says thanks and then he does this

deep, sinister laugh! - I think he has picked this up from some

movie...probably Jim Cary!)Anyway, Ian makes his own scrambled eggs, rides

abike ( we do 20 mile rides), etc...Lot's of good stuff going on...but he

has huge deficits in his language. He can do addition but does not

understand the concept of " before " . What # comes before 25? Is impossible

for him.

So,,,,what is the starting point for ? Also, what about " verbal

behavior? " I do have the ABLLS books.
