I have an appointment with him the morning of Oct 13 and one with my family doc that afternoon.

I'm trying to get someone to fill out a special diet form which would give me $200 a month more from Disability. My family doctor has ethical problems with that cause she doesn't believe I need it. I want to go for an organic diet to put less strain on my liver. If I can get dear Dr I (sarcastic tone of voice)to sit down long enough to listen, maybe he'll sign it. Wish me luck, I'll need it to get him in a listening mood.

No idea when or even if, got to see him first. We've finally got the biopsy so there should be nothing standing in the way. I should know by Oct 13.

Tell your doctor that while you are on treatment you will need a couple of cases of Ensure every month.Before I went on treatment I had to drink a lot of it to keep strong

I'm trying to get someone to fill out a special diet form which would give me $200 a month more from Disability. My family doctor has ethical problems with that cause she doesn't believe I need it. I want to go for an organic diet to put less strain on my liver. If I can get dear Dr I (sarcastic tone of voice)to sit down long enough to listen, maybe he'll sign it. Wish me luck, I'll need it to get him in a listening mood.

Hey SuZie,

I go see the dietitian today to see if I can get the special diet

forms filled out. I get to see " dear Dr I (sarcastic tone of voice) "

on Wednesday the 5th @ 9am. I'll be trying to get him to listen to me

and fill out the forms also. Maybe I should bring him some coffee &

doughnuts to get his attention.

I never thought that it would be so hard to get this money for us to

afford to eat properly.

Madness takes its toll.

At the time I was on welfare cause I was to sick to work,so for me to get the Ensure for free the doctor wrote the script to the welfare so they would give me a note to take to the pharmacist.

Hey Liz S, It'll be my third swing at the dragon (he's named Barry as in I'm gonna bury you") I haven't much hope it'll work this time but my doctor is adamant, if I don't do it he said he CAN't be my doc anymore. I'd be glad to see another doc but the closest is 800 miles away. He's mentioned transplant more than once - wants me to see a transplant team in Toronto about a thousand miles from here. Not good, can't afford to travel & SpYke doesn't travel well at all. Fingers crossed.
