Guest guest
Hi Amy, Glad you had your appt at s Hopkins. I will pray for his dx to be transient!! There are so many questions with these diseases, will it go away, what is next, what do I expect. I think we all have gone through these questions and all the answers will be different and not always what we are hoping for. but keep up the hope and I will be praying for you. We have had a very complicated immune history with - she started with Hypogammaglobulinanemia, than Selective IgA deficiency and now CVID. When we where at s Hopkins they had told us to watch for CVID around the time of puberty, we she is a few years early but they sure picked it. Something about the way her immune system was developing, she also didn't doesn't make antibodies to all of the pneumovax, Prevnar and non to Hepatitis. If they are thinking it is transient than chances are they are right, it is a great place to go for an evaluation. I hope all things go well for you and your family. , mom to - CVID, asthma, gerd
