Guest guest
When I was at the end of my rope with my jerk of an ex-husband I took a pile of jalousie windows and rhythmically dropped them on the concrete floor of the garage one at a time. The sound/feel of glass breaking was very satisfying and soothing. I left him a few weeks after that. > > I can get angry/frustrated with things and even sometimes people - > but more generally systems in this world that are stupid, ineffective > and annoying. Guest guest
Well, as long as we are confessing things.... Generally I am slow to anger. There have been only a few things that really set me off in the past. One of those things was a an ex- girlfriend who insisted on having an " open relationship " if my relationship with her were to continue. I ended it with her, and the next day I took everything that she had given me, including thwo framed, glass encased photographs, put them in a garbage bag and took a sledge hammer to it all. I was angry at her, sure, but I was more angry at women in general. My ex-wife cheated, and so did the next woman, and now this woman had wanted an " open relationship. " One gets tired of it. By smashing things, my anger was instantly dissipated and dispelled, and I did not greive over that relationship much at all. I alsways question whether or not such violence is a good thing or not, but its therapeutic value cannot be ignored. For me at least. Guest guest
Long as one doesn't direct it at or harm anyone else, I think such venting on rare occasions to get it out of your system is only healthy and cathartic. It's those who habitually keep everything under a lid that get eventually get fatal diseases. Inger Re: On the subject of female aggression.. Well, as long as we are confessing things.... Guest guest
I heard the guy that invented voice mail say that he would never have invented it if he'd have known how it would be used and how annoying it is. Did you know that you can press '00' or '000' (zeros) on most voice mail systems at each prompt to bypass them and get to an operator or customer service rep?>> > In a message dated 11/23/2005 10:27:07 A.M. (As in: here comes trouble) Sometimes I used to answer my phone: "Customer Service: What's your problem?" Until, one day, it was my mother. Oh, oh....... Guest guest
" I wonder about these things. Is it because both Aspie men and Aspie women are more in the middle? That seems too simplistic but I've noticed that on an Aspie forum I can't always tell who is male and female if their names don't indicate it, whereas on an NT forum, I usually can.
