Guest guest
We just received a new member and this is what she wrote in her box to request to join. Any comments? " I was on zocor and due to insurance was switched to caduet (lipitor & norvasc). I stopped due to problems I started developing. I would like to hear other experiences due to this type of drug. Guest guest
Read the archives... There are many stories about side effects. Re: New Member Comment Of all the statins, zocor is probably the least nasty. Caduet will cost more than zocor????????????????????????? And norvasc is for high blood pressure. Guest guest
My wife and i have been restoring an old house for about 10 years now. After I was on Zocor for 69 months I could not drive an inch and a half screw into a piece of wood because the muscles in my forearm would hurt too bad. I stopped Zocor (and tri-cor and Zetia) and after about 2 weeks I could start doing woodworking again. My brother had a similar experience with Lipitor. Thoreau New Member Comment Here is the latest comment from a brand new member who just requestedto be a member of our group."I have been taking lipitor since 99, I have had leg pain and thedoctors have run test and x-ray and find nothing wrong. I'm thinkingthat it could be from the lipitor. "Any comments back to ?
Guest guest
stop the Lipitor and find out. I did and so did many, many more of us. Th pain put me on crutches for 3 weeks, a walking stick for 3 months. --- Ed Gundy <edgundy@...> wrote: > Here is the latest comment from a brand new member > who just requested > to be a member of our group. > > " I have been taking lipitor since 99, I have had leg > pain and the > doctors have run test and x-ray and find nothing > wrong. I have been off the poison for 5 years and most of the pain is gone but I am as weak as a 2 yr old and walk about as well. Just throw the poison away before it's too late. Working out just makes it worse. be well Art
Guest guest
Bobby, don't worry about the typo. Once on a board for diabetics, I wanted to give my fasting blood sugar number as 89 and I typed 29 instead. If my sugar was down to 29, I would probably have gone into a coma. I always proofread but don't always catch my typos. Connie > > >>>> My wife and i have been restoring an old house for > > >>>> > > >>> about 10 years now.
