Guest guest
Astrid, It's very hard starting a new job, especially when you are an Aspie. I do wish you the best of luck. Please let us know how it goes. Tom Hi, I'm starting my trainee job today at a hotel (since I'm in school to become a receptionist). And I'm looking forward to do this, but I can't help being nervous of meeting new groups (but funny enough I'm not nervous of meeting guests or costumers as a guide in my working clothes). Well... before I got to bed last night (after thinking and thingking about tomorrow) I had a major attack of migraine (and even throw up). And I've been up most of the night. Just to check the clock... Why I don't know. Silly me... I'll wright to you all tonight again. (It's nice to know you understand me in this! It is really nice...) Guest guest
Best wishes; Helen! If it was me in the same situation, I'd be sick and sleepless too. Inger It's hard to start at new job... Guest guest
Tom, , Inger and you others! I MADE IT! (But first I was so nervous I forgot to lock my car at the parking lot... but no one stole it *phuh*) This is how I let go of my anxious (after leaving my car unlocked): I was thinking about all of you! And what trick many of us do when we HAVE to interact like this (in new situations). It's the very same trick I did when I was going to do my driving test last winter: Imagination! I let my self believe I was someone else... This time I was a business woman who was going to a meeting like she always does. So... In my black dress and white blouse I just walked into the hotel with a comfortable smile. *hihi* The games people play.... (When I did my driving test I was a young boy who use to drive his dad's car hundreds of times before the test.) //Love U all! Thank you again for being there... somewhere
Guest guest
Astrid, That's great! It's good to hear that everything worked out for you. And it's great to hear that we were in your thoughts and were able to play a part in helping you through. Tom Tom, , Inger and you others! I MADE IT!
