Guest guest
Buddy, Yes your daughter needs you as a strong father figure and roll-model being a single parent to her. Keep that in mind and your priorities for your life and for hers. Daughters can be a best friend with their mothers and share all the girl things in life but many daughters Look Up to their fathers for a special strength and guidance. My own daughter and son 29 and 31 soon did not have a strong relationship with their father growing up but fortunately they loved, respected and admired their grandfather my father who was there for them. Our children and even as adults learn by our examples. My kids, they will always be my kids at any age, have both told me that seeing me handle all the stages of my HCV and now again for the 2nd time in a honest, positive and strong way has given them the strength and determination to handle whatever life throws at them and for their own family's. There are many positive things and lessons to be learned from any situation. It's how we deal with life's situations that determines our lives and futures and those of the people in our relationships. We as parents are only human and make many mistakes with our kids all through the years. It's having a loving, open and honest relationship with good communications with our kids at any age and admitting our mistakes that makes for better relationships. I've learned this the hard way after making many mistakes with my kids growing up and still to this day but we are closer now, love and respect each other more than ever. Biloxi Back Bay is a nice area also Bay St Louis and Long Beach. It is very quiet and peaceful away from the crowded beach strip of Casino's. The white imported sand is beautiful but I wish it also came with blue water instead of the brown waveless stuff there. I don't see blue-green water until I hit the Alab Fla line. It's a shame most of Pensacola Beach and Santa Island is gone from last hurricane season and some surrounding areas. They will rebuild and slowly reopen but we can't replace a life lost. My family and I have stayed on the island many times over the years and very thankful for the many happy shared memories and photos. See. Next time I'm passing through Biloxi or staying there if you are still online I'll let you know. Take Care and God Bless. Deb
