Guest guest
Hi , Hang in there, it is really hard when those bugs don't want to leave. I hate the stress of always wondering if this abx is going to work. is on her second abx as well, also for sinusitis than a week after the first abx she developed Bronchitis as well. she is so high on steroids she's hard to take right now. This is not to make light of 's illness, just to let you know your not alone. We are thinking and praying for you and your family. mom to - Selective IgA def, asthma, gerd [re: PEDPID] Feeling Down Sigh. 's still feeling so crummy with this persistent sinus infection. She's now had 14 days of Cefzil and 4-1/2 days of Augmentin. She can certainly rally when there's something fun to do (the park, playing with her cousin), but in between she just lays on the couch looking pale. She's not deathly ill, just dragging. To make matters so much worse, DH is in one of his Jekyll and Hyde phases. He gets this way during times of stress. Right now we have financial woes, plus his boss got transferred and he doesn't like the new one -- he'll eventually switch to a new branch (banking) under the old, beloved boss, but that will bring more turmoil due to the changes of going to a new branch and having to start fresh with a new set of employees. There's always turmoil in those cases, always people who don't want to cooperate with the change and have to be replaced, etc. He does not handle change well at all. Or stress, for that matter. I'm tempted to suggest medication or something, but during these phases he's like a different person, impossible to discuss things with. OH! To top it off, he has a cold, the same one the girls and I have been fighting for a couple weeks, but you'd think he had Ebola, you know? I'd call my mom to gripe, but our long distance bill was $35 last month and that's just too much!! Kate is still dripping and coughing after two weeks of her cold... fussy enough here and there to consider ears, but I'm not sure enough to take her in. Sigh again. Well, thanks for listening. I sure could use an ear right now. I could handle it all but when DH is being such an unbelievable pill, it's just so much harder. Sometimes I feel like one of those wives who've agreed to be harmless in exchange for their keep. I wish I could slip some Prozac in his dinner, you know? just kidding. (sort of!) Guest guest
: I hope is better soon. Just think, we may be joining you in the " steroid high " dep't soon, I can just imagine how fun may be, considering she's inflicting prime sinus behavior on us already! I'm trying so hard to remain patient. Hopefully they will have something helpful to say when I talk to the ped about her sinus CT, and hopefully that's tomorrow!
