Do I have to crush and shake the Valtrex Tab?

Hi Stan

My son can swallow pills so giving 1/2 Tab of Valtrex is no problem.

In that case do we still need to crush it, mix with juice and shake?

Is this process for easy administration, or for the maximum absorption

purpose?
