Guest guest
I started Isaac on Valtrex Sat am. He is normally overactive, but just prior to lunch (after one dose), he was running around like mad making strange sounds and sometimes uncontrollable laughing. Whenever I tried to distract/redirect him, he just started screaming and saying "RUN, RUN, RUN" He has been more fussy/irritable and felt warm last night. I expect this is all normal. What concerns me is that when I picked him up from the church nursery yesterday, they said he hadn't been himself. When I pushed them, they said he had been "aggressive." He is typically a very sweet, happy boy (after SCD). They said he was screaming, climbing everything, throwing and kicking toys and whatever was near. One lady said she tried to get him to sit on her lap to read to him (something he normally enjoys) and he screamed "NO, NO, NO.." He also refused his snack (doesn't happen!). I was concerned that maybe he had gotten a piece of a cracker or something but that doesn't appear to be the case. Has anyone else seen aggression episodes? Anyone else seen changes after the first dose? He did tell us a few times sat/sun that he needed to use the toilet but we have been working on toilet training so I am waiting to see if he does this consistently. Nothing else to report yet. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks. Sneak preview the all-new .com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.

Guest guest
Hi - I'm so sorry to hear of the uncharacteristic aggression -- I really hope it subsides. We havent tried Valtrex yet, but are actively thinking about it. I am very interested in your experience with it. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! One question for you re Isaac's diet -- is he still SCD or did he switch to LOD? I thought I might have seen you on the LOD list, but I might be confused. Guest guest
Yes, he has been on Diflucan for several weeks. He is about 30# and gets 50mg cap w/ breakfast. I give probiotics twice later in the day. Is this okay? > > Do you have an antifungal on board? Diflucan? > > aggression? > > > > I started Isaac on Valtrex Sat am.
