Guest guest Posted January 2, 2001 Report Share Posted January 2, 2001 I hope everyone has survived the holiday season! I for one did but just barely. I am so happy to be back into the swing of things! I was home for the two weeks, exercised the first, did nothing the second (although I sure wanted to), and ate terribly. It was like it was the week of " stuff all you can in mouth " to prepare for before picture Naw, just kidding. But I didn't feel great all week and I know it was from indulging in too much of just about everything. I started my first challenge (along with a lot of other people) yesterday and boy it feels great! I ate pretty good too. I woke up late which sets me off my schedule, so I didn't get the entire 6 meals in, but you will be happy to know that I had something just before bed (half a protein bar was all I could eat). My husband actually kept after me... " don't go to sleep, you have to eat in half an hour " . Remember back in December I said he wasn't very supportive. Something must have happened to him over the holidays (or he just sees how important this is to me) and yesterday he was supporting me all along. While the kids were sitting around eating chips, crackers (and so on) while playing cards, I didn't cheat, and when the temptation was there, he'd slap my hand (lovingly of course). It was kind of cool to actually get some support! I hope everyone is doing great. The list has been quiet and I hope it is only because everyone was enjoying their holidays with their families.
