See links above for more options. Okay folks, I wanted to be in the new house by the 31st of July, that didn't happen. Actually we probably could have moved in, but it would have given me no time to get the rent house we are renting a good clean up. I want my deposit back. I have never failed to get a deposit back when I rented. Hee Hee We have our new home completely finished now. And I am really proud of how it turned out. (Well all but the new windows, I am still awaiting shipment of them. But I can deal with the old windows till then.) It has been a long month and a some days getting the house ready for move in. The pictures I am sending are of how it looked before we started working on it. Actually we had clean a bit before I took these. In the first picture you can see the brown wooden divider. That is gone now. It made the living room seem small and cramped. The second picture is of the living room window which was busted out at the bottom. We replaced the bottom pane even though we were going to put in new windows, because we could not use the air conditioner with the pane out. Too hot to work in that house with no air. Bathroom were a mess as most of the other rooms in the house. But now it is clean and has new paint in every room. We removed mold from the walls. Yeah, that was nasty. Had to replace sheet rock were the damage was too bad. Mold is something you don't want to mess with. I have two asthmatics in the house, and Dean has serious sinus problems so that was the first on my agenda. I searched the internet for mold removal and found a solution. Yeah. It involves a bleach solution and lots of scrubbing. whew!! But soon we were ready to start making it pretty. Breianna's room is gleeful joy, which in my point of view is purple. But then again Dean wasn't excited about my paint choice for our bedroom which is soft peach. Oh well, he will have to live with it, because I love it. Ha Ha. I am going for a tropical theme in our bedroom, have the comforter, plenty of plants and plant stands. Just as soon as I finish setting it up. I will take a picture. The kitchen we call the sky cafe. And after I take pictures you will see what I mean. We are going to replace the cabinet inserts with glass. That will have to be done after the move. The living room is painted in toasted marshmellow, and it is a unique color because it looks white in natural light, but at night you can see that it is a light beige color. I love it. Most of the house is done in the toasted marshmallow because I got tired of chosing paint. LOL That is not a easy thing to do, chosing paint. You have to satisfy everybody, including your spouse. Uck. The carpet is a brown sugar color, it changes colors as the light reflects on it. I love it, of course I picked it. I had watched a lot of HGTV so I was prepared for my decorating needs. LOL Now I need to start watching for the landscaping. The yard badly needs some help. Wish me luck and I will see everyone when I finish moving. love Janet DSC00020 DSC00021 DSC00022 DSC00023 DSC00024 DSC00025 DSC00026 DSC00027 DSC00028 DSC00029 DSC00030 DSC00031 DSC00032 DSC00033 DSC00034 DSC00035 DSC00036 DSC00037 DSC00038 DSC00039 DSC00040 DSC00041 DSC00042 DSC00043 DSC00044 DSC00045 DSC00046 DSC00047 DSC00049Take the ordinary things of life, and make them your own.
