Guest guest
*and voila' your hair turns dark. I hope mine doesn't. I have always been blonde and rather like it, even with a little gray mixed in. :oP jan* Since I began drinking my kefir and raw milk from my goats (my goats are fed alfalfa pellets and consequently have a higher calcium content anyway from this---my cheese sets very quickly!) my hair became thicker and glossier. My blond has been fading very steadily over the years. I am 51 years old and most people think I am in my thirties. Part of this IS genetic---we are long-lived and young looking in my family. Pasteurization destroys the calcium in milk and you cannot assimilate it. I am thankful to have clean raw milk to drink. But when I added kombucha to my diet, my blond began brightening up so much that my husband and another person asked me if I had lightened it. So maybe it is not so much that it darkens hair, but restores it somewhat to it's original genetically ordained color? I know, I know, it is anecdotal, but hey, it's happening to ME! Blessings, Jill!
