had his 3rd Dev Ped appointment today and we got a diagnosis of PDD-NOS today. She said that it could change during further evaluation, she may think it's more or she might think it's less. She also gave me the number to the ABA department to work on some behaviour things with him. She said that his teacher score him at a low average chance of having autism and that I scored him at an average chance for having autism and since I see him more she with more with my scores. We also upped the Tenex dosage in the afternoons to 1/2 a tablet and it seemed to really help. The 1/4 seems to be enough in the mornings but it just wasn't helping in the afternoons when he's really wired from school and day care. It helped tonight that's for sure. Now if I could just get him to stop fighting bed time LOL, but since I know that's a normal 3 year old tradition I'm ok with it. She could tell a difference in him during this visit. She said he was still into everything but that he was a lot

calmer than before. We could tell he was getting bored when he started opening and closing all the drawers and cabinet doors LOL. He even tried to make a run for it at one point.........well just to play with the height and weight scale LOL. She has suggested that we have the school's autism team do an eval to see if he'll qualify for any additional services. I have a feeling that based on the way the school sees him that they won't find any educational need for further services. I could be wrong but I just have that feeling. Anyway, that's about all that happened besides me going into things more in detail. I'm at least happy to finally be getting somewhere. I have half a mind to call ECI and tell his Service Cordinator and OT that Mother's instict is always right and shouldnt' try to talk a mom out of it. Leighanne
