Guest guest
Hi There, Since you have to stop all things three weeks prior to August 31st, I'm not sure you have enough time to see if the Valtrex is actually working. Also, Stan just gave me good advice about seeing good bowels prior to starting Valtrex. My son is also 5.5 years old and a tough case biomedically. We have tried almost everything you list below (except NCD), and the one thing we keep coming back to is healing is gut before starting other things. We scoped a year ago with Dr. Krigsman and still are trying to find the right diet and meds for A.J. I really want to start the Valtrex too, but I also threw A.J. off a month ago by starting Diflucan and adding in a few new foods to SCD. So, we need to heal the gut once again and wait. . . and I hate waiting. I wish you all the best! Tricia New Member - Starting Valtrex this week!? We are about to start, but I'm so nervous he'll get a yeast flare or regress. I've been slowly giving him a few more natural antifungals and probiotics. Just started Amphoterican B this weekend on top of those and thinking of starting the Valtrex later this week. We are also scheduled to do a colonoscopy/upper gi Aug 31st. Do you think it's ok to start now and test it before the procedures? I'll have to stop all antifungals, virals, enzymes etc. three weeks before. We are currently doing Actos, LDN, HDD of MB12 injections, Liver Life, Zeolite NCD, HBOT, SCD and supps etc. Thoughts.... My son is 5.5 yrs old and has only progressed slowly for 2 plus yrs. We are starting to see more improvement now with working up to/in the above. Do you think I should wait until after the colonoscopy/endoscopy to start Valtrex? He'll probably be put on sulphasalizine after that. All the thanks for your ideas.

Guest guest
wait until after the colonoscopy. i started valtrex originally in december last year then at day 17 was taken off it in prep for a colonoscopy. they did find an ulcer and we were kept off all biomed except seizure meds and ulcer meds for 4 months. then we worked our way slowly back to the valtrex. it is not worth it to start then stop. wait and start it when you can see the exactly what side effects good and bad are occurring over the first 30 days..just my 2 cents.. teresa -- In mb12 valtrex , " recoveringluke " <johnandmona@...> wrote: > > We are about to start, but I'm so nervous he'll get a yeast flare or > regress. Guest guest
I was thinking this was the answer - to wait. We would be almost like you starting for around 12 days or so then having to stop. Now that I think about it more after your reply - it doesn't make sense to even start it. I just get anxious and want so badly for a big jump. Thanks so much for answering me so quickly. How is your child doing now...Mona > > > > We are about to start, but I'm so nervous he'll get a yeast flare > or > > regress. Guest guest
Hi Tricia, Thanks for your advice and you are right! I don't have that much time to see what could happen. I know healing the gut is the biggest problem here - that's why nothing is really working that well yet. I hate the waiting too. We have been so many biomed treatments since 2.5 yrs including chelation and his gut is not right. I actually saw your post to Stan last night about the good bowels and it made me think to hold off with Valtrex. I just get so overwhelmed all the time. All the best to you too. Guest guest
Hi Mona, It is all very overwhelming, and the timing is just so crucial. I hope the scope helps determine a new, successful path for Luke and your family.
