Guest guest
If I were you I would stop the anti-fungals, they are systemic and are taxing on the detox systems: liver and kidney so I would stop it if I see elevated SGPT/ALT etc. How did your doctor suggest? and how often you run the blood work to check liver function? Guest guest
One advantage of OLE is that it lowers liver enzymes. My son had had chronically elevated SGOT and SGPT (mildly so, but higher than your son's) for years until we started OLE 18 months ago. They have been normal the two times we checked since. Guest guest
Hi Yuxin- Yes, I actually stopped the sporonax and valtrex as well about 3 days ago. We were getting ready to end valtrex, as we really haven't seen significant gains on it even with 2 rounds of antifungals. Our DAN dr. checks blood work every 6-8 weeks. Should it be more often than that? > > > > HI all- > > Any advice would be SO appreciated.I just got my son's lab results > for the month and his liver > > enzymes were high: SGPT/ALT was 39 and reference range stated 5-25. > Has anyone had this > > experience and were you able to bring them back down? Guest guest
Hi Pamela, Yes, I forgot to mention that. We are doing IV chelation every 2 weeks. Just finished fourth round. We are doing Ca-EDTA at this point. > > , > > > > Are you doing any heavy metal detoxification? > > > > Pamela > > " Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. Guest guest
, When we were on TD-DMSA and my son’s liver enzymes came back elevated, we hate to give him a break from chelation. I’m not sure if it works the same way with the IV method. We have since moved on to the Cutler ALA chelation protocol. Pamela " Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. Guest guest
6-8 weeks check I think is very intensive. We do it longer, about 3 or 4 months. > > > > > > HI all- > > > Any advice would be SO appreciated.I just got my son's lab results > > for the month and his liver > > > enzymes were high: SGPT/ALT was 39 and reference range stated 5-25. > > Has anyone had this > > > experience and were you able to bring them back down?
