Guest guest Posted January 24, 2006 Report Share Posted January 24, 2006 Sorry I just wanted to get this written to everyone! Yesterday we went to the school and had a meeting. They have finally placed on an IEP for a LD in Math and Writing. Right now that is great; he will get 2 hours in the Resource room every morning. They are still going to be testing him in OT and a few other specific areas, but they said from the first round of testing that he scored about an 85 on Math and writing and he should be testing at around 125 for both of those. And that anything over 25 points out a LD. They are going to also test his fine Motor skills to really be able to see if the newest diagnosis of Aspie or if the symptoms are behaving like an Aspie child. The school psychologist says that he really hopes that it is emotionality and not Aspie because then we can get him better counseling.
