Guest guest Posted April 18, 2006 Report Share Posted April 18, 2006 Hello everyone..my name is Debbie and I'm 44 years old and the mother of a 19 year old who isn't just dealing with Aspergers, but also schizoeffective disorder and diabetes. Each day seems to be a new challenge/struggle, not only for her but for me as well as the caretaker. Lately, her thing is to (because her sleeping patterns are all ass-backwards) get me up around 1-3 am to " sit and talk " . I'm only human here and the lack of sleep is really getting to me. I'm frustrated and more than a little lonely. I moved from NY to Indiana last June and I don't really have anyone here that I can talk to who really understands....so I decided to join a couple of groups.
