Guest guest
I really need some advice as I am not sure what to do. I have the digital fat calipers - As a whole my bf% is 34%. The problem is my arms in particular, they are at 15% bodyfat (I have measured this pretty consistently). They are rock solid (i wish my other body parts were in that great of shape). I do not want them to get any bigger, but I do want them to stay toned up. I am looking for any suggestions to modify my program. Thank you VERY, VERY MUCH! Guest guest
Robbie, Don't worry about it, if you are a woman you won't have the hormones to increase the arms size to a problem size and as you drop overall bodyfat you'll be surprised how it affects even apparently solid muscle groups. If you are still very concerned, don't go to failure on the last set and freeze your weights for the next few weeks on biceps and/or triceps. I think you'll find few of us concerned with over development on this site, not because of a lack of sympathy or out of insensitivity, but rather we would like to be struggling with such a problem. Since at 30+% bodyfat, fat loss is likely one goal, the calorie deficit of the nutrition side should prevent any run away growth. Hope it helps. If I was incorrect in my guess as to sex, you can still follow the advice on backing off the intensity on arms. Kit
