I can't afford one, yet any really doctor needed questions like whether something will be harmful in low doses we can ask our regular pedia, and ofcourse I'm with 6 different message groups all related to the same goal, healing our children, yes I would love to be able to afford all the tests and drive 2 1/2 hrs, to see a DAN but for now I can't so we are just trying to do everything the safest way possible, and not just sit aside and do nothing, when it comes to help that he may obviously need through lots of questions about signs and symptoms to look for, and I know my son, very very well, since I'm with him everyday. Please know that if you are asking because it would be easier, I know, but just because we don't have that kind of money I can't just wait, GFCF led to supplements and here we are, also knowing that there's a possibility that as long as I know he's at his healthiest I may chelate, we have just decided not to go into the next round because with out any

tests, it's obvious he's having to hard a time with yeast, we'll give it a month, and add reenforcements and maybe try again, as long as he gets healthier between now and then. This is not easy, but the gains out way the means, and I would never put my son in harms way intentionally, yet unintentionally his whole world has already done that to him. Wow, I always really let go. Hope I didn't seem to defensive, I just love both my children so much, and want to do the very best I can for them. Tina, If you thin it's yeast-can you get your doctor to write a script for diflucan? PS And I do know how the money problems is-I am living on a fixed income and taking care of my grandson. Tina,

I totally know how you feel.  My son

turned 6yrs last December and that’s when we were finally able to afford

to get to a DAN and things still aren’t perfect.  We had a major yeast

outbreak that is taking months to fix.  We were supposed to start chelation

last week and his DAN called us and said no go, his yeast is still out of

control.  He had been on a full month of Diflucan.  He had been on Nystatin

since Februrary.  I’ve been changing his diet, etc, etc.  He has raised

liver enzymes and we have to stop the diflucan but it didn’t work

anyway.  We are moving to Uva Ursa.  She said 10 drops 2x per day.  You can get

it at the health food store.

It is very frustrating to introduce

something and then have to back off due to worsening effects.  The amount of

information is overwhelming and asking parents for advice is how most of us are

able to figure everything out.  Keep asking questions, when something doesn’t

work make sure it’s just not an adjustment thing and if not change to

something else.  This is a puzzle for all of us.  My DAN says Valtrex does not

create yeast in any way, but I absolutely know that is wrong.  Trust your gut, watch

Lyric closely, be okay with having to back off a little, keep asking questions,

research and more research.  You’ll find the path most suited for him.

My son used to wake up for hours every

night until I started him on Milk Thistle.  I know you are on LL but maybe

there’s not enough milk thistle and you could add some more.  You are so

right, you can’t wait.  Concentrate on the biggies, diet, yeast,

antioxidants, zinc, anti-virals and metals.  I know you have Lyric on enzymes.

My son cannot tolerate any of the ones we have tried.  Calcium and folinic are

others he cannot tolerate.  Lastly, breathe and remember you are a wonderful

advocate for your son.  Some fantastic Mom’s had to remind me of that

last week when I needed the support.  Take care,

Take care,

I can't afford one, yet any really doctor needed questions like whether

something will be harmful in low doses we can ask our regular pedia, and

ofcourse I'm with 6 different message groups all related to the same goal,

healing our children, yes I would love to be able to afford all the tests and

drive 2 1/2 hrs, to see a DAN but for now I can't so we are just trying to do

everything the safest way possible, and not just sit aside and do nothing, when

it comes to help that he may obviously need through lots of questions about

signs and symptoms to look for, and I know my son, very very well, since I'm

with him everyday. Please know that if you are asking because it would be

easier, I know, but just because we don't have that kind of money I can't just

wait, GFCF led to supplements and here we are, also knowing that there's a

possibility that as long as I know he's at his healthiest I may chelate, we

have just decided not to go into the next round because with out any tests,

it's obvious he's having to hard a time with yeast, we'll give it a month, and

add reenforcements and maybe try again, as long as he gets healthier between

now and then. This is not easy, but the gains out way the means, and I would

never put my son in harms way intentionally, yet unintentionally his whole

world has already done that to him. Wow, I always really let go. Hope I didn't

My experience is that yeast was impossible to get under control until

I chelated. No diet or amount of antifungals worked. Then once I got

got started chelating, Cutler protocol, I had to take plenty of weeks

off to beat the yeast back. Eventually it got controllable, but

chelation is what did it.

I am under the impression that the yeast needs to go(asmuch as one can) prior to starting chelation. That is how we are doing it, anyway. Chelation works better when the body is ready for it. lanellici <lanellici@...> wrote: > We were supposed to start chelation last week and his DAN called usand said> no go, his yeast is still out of

I would agree with Nell. Very commonly the fungal issues are central to metals,

and I'll

add viruses. Both have the capacity to cause chronic fungal/bacterial issues.
