Guest guest
We are giving valtrex ( 250 mgx3 / Day- 40 lbs kid) to our son from last 6 weeks . His eye contact and receptive communication has improved but I didn't see any gain in expressive language. Besides, he is stimming a lot and becoming more non compliant. I started seeing regression after 20 days . We have changed his antifungal medicine also ( From Diflucan to Nizoral). I want to know how long regression generally lasts in kids. Moreover, do we need to perform some testing to find out whether my son really needs valtrex. Thanks.. Kavita
Guest guest
Hi Kavita, Valtex does several things and there is no real way to test if you need it... right now it's just trial and error. The regression typically lasts between 20 and 40 days. You may have another week or two left. I would hold on since you are seeing gains. - Stan > > We are giving valtrex ( 250 mgx3 / Day- 40 lbs kid) to our son from > last 6 weeks .
