Guest guest
I am new to the group. I am 53 y/o male divorced with a 17 y/o daughter who lives with her Mother. I was dx in Dec 05 with Hep C 1A and ESLD leaning heavely towards forth stage. I have been on a huge rollor coaster ride, as I'm sure you all can relate too. I was to start tx with my Hep C Doctor in March 06 and even had, and still do, a three month supply of combo tx in my fridge. I had to quit my job because of confussion and other things, and am now awaiting SSID which is yet another story. I am currently being treated at the VA in Cincinnati OH and the Doctor said when I was seeing the Doc at University of Cincinnati that my viral load was low at on 24,000 and they would have started me on tx, but when they tested it at the VA my viral load was only 6,000 so they decided to wait. So I'm just existing here in Limbo. I just wanted to introduce myself to the group and say hello. I am stll a bit confused as to why even though my viral count is so low they will not start me on treatment at the VA. Thanks for listening.
