Has anyone else experienced their child Scripting while on and after

stopping Valtrex?

If so, any suggestions to resolve it?

We had our 4yo ASD son on Valtrex for 4-months earlier this year and he

began Scripting heavily while on it. We never experienced it prior to

Valtrex. We've seen some good gains from Valtrex, but the heavy

Scripting continues to this day.

Thanks,

-Jon

Hi, Yes my son has increased scripting while on valtrex. He doesn't talk alot so I was actually happy to hear his voice, but he is definitely scripting tv programs. He also is singing songs alot more too. He has the rash and seems to be doing well on it otherwise, although it is soon to really say (three weeks). I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions, just thought I should respond that our son is doing it too. What improvements did you see with your son? Did he get the rash? ila edwards <swernj@...> wrote: I sorry but what is Scripting? My son isn't on Valtrex (yet)... but large doses of folic acid helps tremendously with scripting. I give him 800-1600 mcgs every other day. He gets nasal MB-12 with folinic acid on the opposite days. We did a Virastop protocol a few weeks ago, and scripting was HUGE during the protocol. My son also scripts more if he is dealing with yeast issues. BTW, scripting is repeating cartoons, movies etc. verbatim. Tina Heller <marymoranheller@...> wrote: Hi, Yes my son has increased scripting while on valtrex. Thanks Tina!

, you asked about my son's experience on Valtrex...

Yes he had the rash... and fevers, vomiting, red ears, etc.

The amazing thing was that almost immediately after each vomiting

episode (three or four total), he made significant improvements. He

began pedaling his trike (couldn't do it prior). He began using the

potting (#1), without prompting (He refused prior).

Valtrex normalized his general body temp (skin), prior to he was

always excessively warm to the touch.

Valtrex also curbed his sensativities to touch on his belly and

certain sounds to his ears (frequently covering them), although these

things came back once we stopped the Valtrex. We're doing AIT now and

it seems to be slowly getting rid of these issues in addition to

improving his language & attentiveness.

Good luck!

-Jon

Im new to the valtrex/diflucan treatment but I had a question after

reading your post. Are the positive changes made usually permanant

or do they tend to dissapear once you stop the valtrex?

All of the positive changes have been permanent, except for the two

last two sensativity issues I mentioned
