Guest guest
My children were SCD/LOD (2.5yrs/9mos) prior to starting valtrex and didn't have any obvious signs of yeast. I did start diflucan a few weeks prior to starting valtrex just to have it in place. Isaac had a yeast flare-up immediately after starting valtrex despite being on diflucan and a strict SCD/LOD diet. My vote would be to get the antifungal in place. The diet should help, but as I said, my kids haven't had yeast problems in a long time but do now with anti- virals. hth, > > > > Help!
