Hi there! I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. Hubby and I

have decided to make some changes18 hou to stay healthy do something

together. I picked up the book at the library after seeing an article in my

Dad's " Modern Maturity " magazine and I read it to my husband on our 18 hour

drive to a cruise. We read it again on the way home 10 days later and

ordered or shakes and challenge guides the day after Christmas. We went and

bought a treadmill, bike and some weights and prepared to begin the

challenge on January first. Hubby, Stan is 35 and just wants to lose a few

pounds and become more defined, I on the other hand have struggle with my

weight for years and have about 100 to lose. I am tired of the way I look

and feel! I have tried various things and haven't stuck with it due to

distractions and true lack of commitment.

We are so excited to find the bodies we once had and we finally have

something to do together! We have two beautiful and active girls and our

schedules are hectic around here. We made the commitment to each other and

the girls that we will not quit. We are purging the house of the

" unauthorized food " and are broadening our horizons of the nutritious foods

out there. :o) We have risen each morning at 4:30 am to workout together

(yep with smiles on our faces).

I have enjoyed reading the messages and look forward to sharing your success

as well as ours. I have some questions but will leave those for another

shorter message!
