Guest guest
Hi Guys, Sorry for the rude subject line but I have to say after lurking here for a long time, posting once or twice and having many friends who are having success with anti-virals I am disappointed in my valtrex run so far! Background: late ASD diagnosis, didn't start biomed until almost 6 years old and have been at it a little over a year. We have been aggressive with a top notch well known DAN! Seen nice gains in everything but still a long way off. My little guy is a major gut kid he has the privilege of being one of the tissue samples in the Wake Forest Univ study that replicates Wakefield's work. We finally got his gut under control in early spring and had a good run in April and May, nice gains from HBOT and our chelation protocol. So I start Valtrex on May 28 with Nizoral in place and not much yeast in sight. Valtrex kicks up the yeast despite the Nizoral and I have been having to add the naturals to the mix but I am keeping it at bay. And therein lies the problem. I am having to work double at yeast fighting and getting nothing for it. In fact articulation is worse, expressive language down (already his biggest issue) and spaciness is back. We had seen nice gains in overall "being present" and that is sliding since Valtrex. Now I know there is the healing regression but I have seen no rash, cold sores, fever. He was very sleepy the first 3 days and took naps but that was it. His dose is 250mg 2 times a day and Stan will probably say that is the problem, but this DAN of mine is not willing to dose that way (at least for us presently). Anyone have time to comment? This is a great list, thanks for reading this far. Best,
