Guest guest Posted June 26, 2006 Report Share Posted June 26, 2006 hello... still havent found a lawyer who will help us get dustin on disability & just got confermation that dustin indeed had been cut off his hoosier health wise plan (public assistance) with out any notice or explaination (it wasnt due to be reevaluated till september) ive been taking st. john worts to try to help me with my stress.....so far i havent knoticed any real changes in dustin with the zoloft my mother in law is supportive as to the "understanding" that dustin has aspergers but her advice is for sam & i to just get better jobs so as to deal with the financial side of paying for his meds & all the other goodies that will HAVE to come with helping him get out & survive in the adult world-- the job i do is very (how to put it).......it takes a lot out of me physically & then i come home to do all that has to be done with house work & such (plus she doesnt lift a finger round the house PERIOD) & keeps tellin me that I need to see a doctor to get nerve meds-- thats not gonna solve the problem (<---i wanna tell her) ive looked on enternet for advocates but cant find any really close to us...closest is indianapolis & we live in elwood---i have no clue as to whats what in & around this area LOL.......(i grew up in southern illinois) my mother in law now wants us to "take care of & support her"---so thats more added stress.......................(shes 45 & fully capable of supporting herself) she makes more than my husband & i together & is always broke....... & along with me paying (court ordered) child support & medical coverage for my 2 daughters......we cant afford to buy medical coverage for dustin even though he NEEDS IT.....ive been looking all over the enternet for support & resources & keep running into dead ends.......im frazzled right now---we need to "get out" & do something but we never do & cant afford it....were trying to save money to get our own place but things keep coming up--car broke down--sam (husband) got sick--ronda (mother in law) needs money for this & that & paying more than our share of the bills----i just dont know what to do---anyone have advice ????????
