If you see a VERY hyper child with MB12 I would cut back on it. Did you see any

benefits

from the spray. Some people do better on the spray than the shots. I don't

believe in

pushing through with MB12. There typically is not a healing-regression like

with antiviral

therapy.

> We have been doing nasal MB12 for about 4-5 weeks before we switched to the

shot.

What we are seeing with the shot seems to be a VERY increased hyper behavior.

Wild to the

point of having to be restrained frequently, but we are also seeing him blow

spit bubbles a

lot. He likes to spit on everything and just play/mouth his spit bubbles. That

has really

increased. My question is: are these positive regressive signs or should I be

looking for

other answers to this? He has been on natural antifungals and we just started

Nystatin

today as his stool analysis says he is resistant to Diflucan. We are all about

nuts around

here as his behavior is almost beyond crazy. His twin also gets incredibly

worked up when

he is hyper. Both together could solve the Middle East Crisis as I could put

them in a room

with a few dignitaries and they would be screaming mercy!!!! If I have a mind

left to lose

when this is all over it will be a miracle!!!

Hi Beth,

My son would blow bubbles when he had high histamines. MB12 shots

raised his histamine levels. It literally drove me nuts. I don't

know if this is what's happening with your son. It could be yeast or

bacteria. There were many things that helped with high histamines for

my son. The most effective were methionine, NDF Plus, aloe vera

juice, cal/mag liquid, taurine, vitamin C with bioflavanoids. To read

more about high histamines you can go to

http://www.alternativementalhealth.com/articles/walshMP.htm

I hope this helps,

Hi, I know this not of much help, but I just wanted to share. My son is also spitting 24/7 after starting B12 shots in Jan 2006. The plus is that his muscle tone improved , he's more focussed, more aware. got toilet trained within a month on shots. But the spitting continues unabated. For a while, it helped when I gave him nystatin, candidase and capryllic acid every 3hours. But now even that's not of much use.Hope someone has the solution to this. Beth and Tami,

Methylation is connected to the histamine system as well. Quite often I've seen

people

with chronic congestion improve withing an hour of taking their first dose.

Many report

breathing better as well. I have two videos on people with asthma improving

with MB12,

one from the spray the other from shots.

I only rarely observe negative symptoms of histamine when MB12 was well

tollerated,

meaning there were obvious gains in other areas, but obviously it sounds like

there are

some so let's keep an eye out on this and I'll bring this up in my research

circles and see

what we can find. In the meantime, keep sharing what works.

FYI----Spitting is also a classic Tourette symptom... a great source for that is Tourette Syndrome and Human Behavior by Comings, MD. He spoke at some of our CHADD conferences... in the early 90's in Sacramento. .... His book is great on case studies, coexisting (co-morbidity) conditions, genetics, and med management... but did not go into natural remedies.... at the time...

Beth, if this behavior came with the MB12 shot then its

possibly pushing his methylation cycle faster than his body can

handle it. Have you looked at the Yasko protocol and looked at her

genetics diagrams, that could help explain things better. Maybe he

is not a candidate for methyl B-12 and needs a different form of B12

such as hydroxy or intrinsic (does not cross the BB barrier) or

cyano. Yasko says other things need to be in place before you can

mess with the methyl B 12 and folate cycle.

Not all kids respond equally to DAN and you may need to visit other

possibilities. My son for instance is a COMT++ and cannot tolerate

too much of the methyl B12 shot, though we saw gains from the 3 day

protocol he clearly needed a week's respite between the shots. We

are now trying the hydroxy B12 to see how that works. If there are

intolerable side effects you need to stop and re-evaluate your

choices - unfortunately its something we are really good at at our

house. Hope things get resolved and life becomes bearable at your

end. Don't despair, there is always a different path to follow. Good

luck.

IF that's true, then I would also be looking to try MB12 Nasal Spray

and do a PANDAS blood test. If your child tests positive for PANDAS

that's probably the cause of the tourette's.

Yes, I see this quite often and I even have several people on video

who had asthma and recovered. The histamine pathway is dependent on

methylation and it seems that some folks with chronic histamine

issues do much better on MB12.

All,

Thanks for the great thoughts on the bubble issue. I do see some language gains but they are sooooo masked by his behavior. Hyper and aggressive and destructive. His teachers have all told me he is behaving in ways he never has before. Tearing up the manipulatives and hitting kids. Tonight he had the meltdown of all meltdowns. I feel like the only thing I can do at this point is stop all supps and give his body a break and restart everything again slowly. I hate it when it gets this way because I never know for sure what is causing it and it seems like by trying to make adjustments I can't seem to get it back to a good place. All I know is I cannot live like this anymore and neither can the rest of my family.

With my son spitting was always related to yeast.

We went through spits, clearing throat, lick spits, finger spits,

spity spit spat,

and sticky fireballs you name it. This form behavior is easy to spot

now and I call it yeasty behaviors.

Drinking plenty extra water helped but when we went to anti yeast

protocol it always disappeared.

We went through this for a few months until I had isolated it to

yeast. Most people don't think they have yeast when the stools look

good, diet is tight and gut is clear.

IMO if you're doing biomed and stuff is working you will get die off

and yeast in all interventions.

The worst case of autism we have had at Children's Corner was a little three

year old who

just spun and played with her spit and blew bubbles. Diet fixed it and it never

returned.

She still is non-verbal, but she is doing much better.
