Guest guest
Well I changed my exercise routine starting on Sunday. As it was the start of week 5, I thought I would give my body a jolt. And what a jolt it was. It has been 2 days and my muscles in my upper body are still sore in spots. I changed my bench press using my machine to an incline bench press using my dumbbells and you sure do use different muscles or the same ones differently. And so on for the remaining muscle groups. It was a good workout. As I don't have an incline bench, I used my stair stepper thing, leaned it up against my couch, and voila - incline bench It works until I can get a real one. I tried to do a lying leg extension this morning for my hams and that machine just kills my legs so I've decided to not use it. I think I am too short and it hurts the backs of my knees. It's not a good pain, so I think I had best not use it. The deadlifts still work my legs so I think I'll keep on with them and get going on practicing some lunges (need to gain my balance doing lunges). We will see tomorrow just how good my workout was today Do we live with the constant soreness for the entire 12 weeks because we are constantly trying to best our best? Does a body ever reach a certain strength, adaptability, or whatever you want to call it, so that it no longer gets sore? Take care,
