Guest guest
youngest son only on mb12 and diflucan has had interesting die off reactions. last week had the rash everyone talks about here, then when it left, next day he absolutely had a melt down laughing like a wild man jumping on the bed in a complete high and then laying there crying for no reason then couple minutes later all over again. i held off charcol as i didnt want to kill off the probiotics he had just taken, this reaction lasted an hour or so then he was fine, well exhausted but okay. the next day he didnt bm all day until late evening and it was his most formed to date dare i say normal. then the following day was the gains he was happy, responsive, listening, playful with brother but the most astonishing was that i asked him to take this(the bath mat) and put it in the bathroom, well not only did he head right there but but layed it over the side of the tub!!! yah yah, but now two days later he woke at 5am was silly hyper for 7 hours and not with it again, plus yeasty stool. can one expect this shorter gain time process for some time before longer periods of gains are seen??? anyones experience, stan or scott, others??? would be appreciated!!! Guest guest
We saw all kinds of behaviors during the healing regression in both kids. There were good days and bad. Some better than others, but towards the end, the bad days started tapering off. > > youngest son only on mb12 and diflucan has had interesting die off > reactions. last week had the rash everyone talks about here, then when > it left, next day he absolutely had a melt down laughing like a wild > man jumping on the bed in a complete high and then laying there crying > for no reason then couple minutes later all over again. i held off > charcol as i didnt want to kill off the probiotics he had just taken, > this reaction lasted an hour or so then he was fine, well exhausted > but okay. the next day he didnt bm all day until late evening and it > was his most formed to date dare i say normal. then the following day > was the gains he was happy, responsive, listening, playful with > brother but the most astonishing was that i asked him to take this (the > bath mat) and put it in the bathroom, well not only did he head right > there but but layed it over the side of the tub!!! yah yah, but now > two days later he woke at 5am was silly hyper for 7 hours and not with > it again, plus yeasty stool. can one expect this shorter gain time > process for some time before longer periods of gains are seen??? > anyones experience, stan or scott, others??? would be appreciated!!! >

Guest guest
This can be tricky and often times when the gut is not in good shape and you are doing antifungals along Mb12s you can also have an increase again in yeast. What you are describing as far a yeast/ behavior / and possible die off can be a combination. Mb12 is good stuff but is also a big hitter and can bring on or let's say with our son it amplified other interventions that much more. In return for him shows up in hyperness and aggressiveness behaviors. Or just increase in yeasty behaviors. Now if you have yeast on top of it watch out. It can be that much trickier and become an emotional roller coaster. Also don't know the condition of you kiddo's gut or diet but I would look into phenol issues as well. When you have what they call the yeast beast you do not want to feed it. Anything and every thing that feeds yeast should be eliminated or strictly reduced until the gut is in better shape. One example added sugars from even fruits and juices in the diet could increase phenol intolerance especially store bought pre made stuff. You can run trials of reducing, rotating and eliminating these types of sugars to see if that may be an added culprit. Also digestive enzymes are very helpful. And don't forget generous amounts of pro B's are very helpful to restore healthy gut flora. This was my observation with my son over the years once we cleaned up his gut he was able to tolerate other interventions as we continued to apply more advanced biomed.
