Guest guest
I'm Lori Knowles and I am mostly a lurker on this list, and don't post much because of busyness and also because we are not doing valtrex. I am mom to , age 8 (as well as 3 other kids age 11,15, and 17.. is so high functioning that I consider him recovered although it is a managed recovery. We have been doing Biomed since he was 2.5 years when he was Moderate Autism. We do GFCF diet, yeast therapy, supplements, ionic footbaths, and we did oral DMSA chelation. We just bought an infrared sauna although I haven't started using it yet. We have never tested for viral titers and I have never tried valtrex. I am the General Manager of an autism-specific supplement company owned by Dr. Shaw and I have the priviledge of speaking at autism conferences to parents sharing my success story about my son and to inspire parents to have hope and choose the biomedical path for thier children. Our newest WOW therapy has been the Methylcobalamin nasal spray. We are thrilled with the results and we never tried shots because it seemed too invasive for me, considering how well he is doing. We begain this about 6 weeks ago. The areas of improvement include: 1. Clearer - more focused. 2. More articulate - words flowing more smoothly 3. More brave to take on challenges. Less shy about taking risks and asking adults for things he wants. 4. Less hand movements (he plays with his fingers in front of his face) when he's bored or distracted. (This is the only "wierd" thing he does at times). Here are his teacher's recent comments. I asked her if he was at all moody (which I have noticed which I though might be a side effect: He seems to be his normal quiet and calm self. His attention seems more focused when I am giving directions and others are talking. I have noticed that he has been playing with more which is great. Unfortunately Ari, and don't always get along. There does seem to be some tension when the three of them play. It is always easier when there is an even number of kids playing together. I haven't noticed as many hand movements either. Overall, I describe it as the Claritin clear commercial. Its like he has gone from fuzzy to crystal clear. This has been one of the easiest, cheapest, and most effective therapies that we have done in a long time. We are so excited! We do only one spray per day of the B12 only (no folinic acid) formula by coastal compounding pharmacy. I'm going to keep doing one spray per day until I see a reason to stop. I wish parents could get this product without a prescription. I want to give thanks to Stan for pushing me to try this with my son.
