Guest guest
Hey girl, we all earn a pity party every now and again. I say once again, begin with the end in mind. dont worry about today, just keep on keepin' on as they say. it will be there! not in the 12 weeks? ok, so what? maybe for you it will be 14 or 16 weeks. that's ok. you're not in it for the money right? the prize will be in the mirror girl!! Don't quit! Bitchin' every once in a while is definitely accepted :>). cyn
Guest guest
, Thanks for the words of encouragement. I appreciate that you took the time to CARE. I will take the time to remember that others are saying nice things about how much I have changed in just a short period of time. Guess I just needed a little help from friends. Thanks once again. Guest guest
CYN, Thanks for helping me see that I will get to the end of where I planned on going. Like you said it might take me a little longer than the planned 12 weeks, but what counts is that I finish. I would rather be a better person in 16 wks, 20 wks, 24 wks, ect.....than the same old one I have been the last four years. Thanks for the words------they really helped me out. Guest guest
Carolyn, Sorry I am a bit late in response to your letter, I have been off line for a while. But here goes it at any rate. I have been where you are... And understand how you feel. How can any one be talking about another challenge when you are struggling to finish this one? Well this is body for life not just body for the next 12 weeks. But my suggestion to you and what helped me was just to focus in on the little things. Like holding your correct position, or a good eating day or the fact that your bmi is lower. Look to the little accomplishments. Really eating better, or that your pants are looser.. Because when your 12 weeks are over and you look at the whole of what you have accomplished you will hold your head higher and walk as if you were floating on a cloud. You will have done something big. To tell the truth REALLY BIG!!! So keep the faith chick, and remain true to oneself. You are doing well my friend, and the next 12 weeks after this one will come, and you will look forward to starting the next challenge ( I know you think I am crazy) but I felt as you did. And now I am super charged and raring to go. And you know what? It makes me feel damn proud that I at the very least finished the first challenge. (Even tho I didn't have the perfect body when I was done) You can do it, and be proud of where you have come from. Best of Luck and if you would call me friend I would be honored. ~
Guest guest
Carolyn, everyone is different in how they respond. many go along for many weeks and then major changes appear as if by magic. The biggest change is on the inside, literally and figuratively. Literally because you first lose the intra muscular fat that is inside the muscle and figuratively because you are changing your habits, how you view eating, how you live your life and plan ahead and many other things, too numerous too mention. As you work on each layer of improvement you will get closer to your goals. Consistency is the key. One round or four rounds is all really a short time when compared to the rest of your life. Enjoy the process and the results are just frosting on the cake! Oops..how about fruit on top of your cottage cheese/ LOL Hang in their...it's a transformation...not a magic act. All the best!
