Guest guest
Y'all got a little technical for me on all of this protein talk! What I really want to know - for my simple mind - is do you think it would be equally as beneficial for me to do this: instead of eating 3 whole food meals and drinking 3 Myo Lites per day, I'm thinking of still eating 3 whole food meals per day and drinking 3 Precision Protein servings along with eating a carb with each of these. I will still be EATING 3 proteins and DRINKING 3 proteins but I will be EATING 6 carbs. (I eat veggies with the 3 whole food meals). My main reason for wanting to change this up is so I can eat more fruit. Thanks for your advice! Sara

I buy protein powders without carbs for exactly that reason, so I can add my prefered carbs with them. some powders have dextrose for the carb filler which is a very high GI carb, which I prefer to avoid unless I have a reason for taking it. Guest guest
Thanks for the advice to all of you for the protein powder question. I am going to try it for this next 12 weeks. Body for Life, the way it was written, worked so well for me that I'm a little nervous straying from it but my main goal now is to eat as many whole foods as possible with no supplements other than protein powder three times per day. A lot of the appeal of Body for Life (to me and others whom I've inspired) is knowing that it can be done without fancy supplements. I appreciate your input! Guest guest
I think eating that way is great. Protein and carbs at every meal. If 3 are whole food and 3 are protein shake and a carb, that's great! It WILL work!!! -
