Guest guest
Ok..well if I'm giving 1 1000 mg 2 x per day. How can I dose it by 3? They would be hard to cut into 1/3's wouldn't they? Sorry I'm not a math person. By the way, I haven't seen any kind of healing regression, no rash, etc. The first week of Valtrex, did sneeze a few times. Of course then he went to the nurse because anytime he sneezes he thinks he's sick. I let him come up but he played video games all day and then I realized I had fallen for the oldest trick in the book! But nothing, other than that! Guest guest
When they do have a smart mouth like that, it almost makes me feel that they are getting very neuro-typical, don't you think? Tami

Guest guest
ABSOLUTELY Stan was right, pairing up Diflucan with Valtrex makes a world of difference. Also, 3 doses per day of Valtrex is a must, as per Stan. We tried both 2 & 3, 3 makes a real difference. After the DAN conf our DAN doc put my 4.5yo ASD son on the combo, after we had stopped almost 3 months of Valtrex alone. During that first round my son did have the healing regression; rashes, vomiting, fevers, red-ears, etc. No big WOWs (so far), but lots of small ones every day. My son also tested high in testosterone, 33 on the 1-10 scale. We're waiting to see if the Diflucan brings it down (like it has for others) and if so will chelate again. We pulled a lot out last year with TD-DMSA, but my wife and I believe there's more that needs to go. -Jon > > Well I can't believe the difference. Guest guest
Tami, My recovered ADHD son, 12 yrs.old, has mild smart a** written all over him, lol, but after 1 yr on valtrex (his recovery protocol!), we stopped for 6 mos. and well... oh my! I now do 2 wks of valtrex whenever I see his " attitude " return (about every 3 mos!) and my little saint (give or take 12 y.o. appropriate comments, lol) returns! By the way, Dr says as his testosterone comes in we will not see the dependency of the valtrex to control the moods (lol, I had to think of that comment and say to myself, no we'll just have a young man that is a mouthy, hee hee!) > > Well I can't believe the difference. Guest guest
Yep...you know, talking-back, stuff like that. Also, he was refusing to do things the teacher asked, rolling his eyes like she's stupid type behavior. Luckily it was only a quick 2 day phase but I'm sure when the teenage years come I'll have much more to deal with. I'm actually looking forward to it, because I was a big eye roller, dirty look giver myself when I was about 13!!!!! Tami

Guest guest
That was my son too! It lasted a couple weeks and I got reports from his teachers asking what was going on... He was also very bossy. It also happened in the past but did not last as long. For him, it looks like it is related to fat (lauricidin, vit E, CLO...). > > Yep...you know, talking-back, stuff like that. Guest guest
, I was thinking about your son today and tried emailing you but it was returned. You probably changed accounts? I'm curious how your son is doing with the spray and Valtrex. - Stan > > > > Well I can't believe the difference.
