Guest guest
You may not see me post often. I'm the quiet moderator. But I read every post and am silently cheering for each and every one of you to reach and maintain SVR. Janet, Jackie, , Doug and I all agree, laughter is vital to a persons overall well being and it's been proven that laughter really is good medicine. (It releases those feel-good hormones called endorphins). I shall continue to send the occasional giggle and if anyone ever needs an ear or a shoulder to cry on, please, don't hesitate to email me either onlist or off. I'm always here for all members. Love anne

Guest guest
Jackie, I do have some ongoing health issues which hopefully will be resolved after an endoscopy and colonoscopy at the end of the month. Other than that, I'm doing ok. I read the list emails everyday, so I'm a bit like the member who sits in the corner of the room, people watching. Oh, and I am dipping my foot into the dating scene again. Not successfully yet though. Know any single men????? LOL! I can hardly believe it's coming up 2 years since we lost Daryl. Somedays it seems like a lifetime ago. I could never have gone through those first 12 months without the love and support I received from everyone here. For those who don't know. Daryl wasn't diagnosed with Hep C until he was at End Stage Liver Disease. He had already started decompensating so treatment and transplant were out of the question. We always assumed that his ex (IV drug user) was the source of infection for Daryl. He fought like a Trojan trying to live as long as he could but ultimately he lost his battle on July 10 2004 due to septicemia. He and I were together as an intimate couple for more than 10 years and I remain Hep C free. Love anne
