What does Valtrex taste like? Very picky child!!!

Listmates,

My daughter is VERY picky and it's extremely difficult to get

supplements down her; therefore, we are using mainly Water OZ

supplements because they are tasteless and odorless. Does Valtrex

have a taste to it, or is it tasteless? If it does have a taste, how

strong is the taste? Does Valtrex come in capsules and liquid? If

so, I would imagine the capsule would have less of a taste to it?

hi there. thanks for the tip on odorless and tasteless supplements! what company is this? please send the company's contact info. thank you in advance for rescuing me! my kids won't take anything i try and give them. i just ordered Valtrex in a liquid form from Coastal Compounding Pharmacy in Georgia. Their # is 866-354-5188. They were able to make it in a bubblegum flavor for my little guys. it's expensive but i don't have a choice. they can make it in different flavors. good luck! lisa

Hi Pat,

Valtrex does have a taste to it. Many people dilute it and then mix

it with juice or apple sauce. Worst case the compound pharmacies will

compound it for you.

Valtrex does have a taste to it. Many people dilute it and then mix
