Guest guest
Hi, I currently brew in batches of 8 quarts (2 gallons) every 2-3 days. I began this way to avoid bottling and more compact/effient storage in the refrigerator. Since we consume 4-6 gallons a week, I am thinking I might start " continuous brewing " in 5-6 gallon food grade plastic buckets with spigots. I am particularly taken by the additional detox benefits created of " continuous brewing " . Plus, the brew can be pulled as needed, rather than bottled and refrigerated. Now comes the hard part...finding the equipment and refining the process. I am thinking of the following: two six gallon food grade buckets with spigots (for two batches at a time) one six gallon bucket for steeping tea one quick & hot instant water heater (190 degrees)to generate a direct stream of hot water into the tea maker Tubing to take the brewed tea to the receiving KT brew pot. A heater (our winter temp, inside, is between 45 and 60 degrees) Any one with experience and or opinions, please reply! Thank you!
