Guest guest
Hi , I would not risk using them. They need to be sterile. Last thing you want is to inject bacteria in your child. Call your pharmacy and see what they say, you never know... You may want to take the angle that they didn't send the shots in a way where they would be signed for and that was why they were left in the sun. - Stan > > I just got back from two days away at camp and I guess what I found at > my back door???? Guest guest
I would be afraid the pharmacy would turn around and ask why you ordered shots if you knew you wouldn't be home to get them. Our guy leaves them on the stoop too. He comes at all different times of day so there is no predicitng when he'll be there so I can be home to wait. Good luck. I hope somebody pays for it for you. UPS always asks the value of the package maybe this means they include insurance in their rates?? Guest guest
URGH! Missy, this is so frustrating....just another reason to hate UPS, huh?! I wouldn't chance it, but I would raise some hell with UPS, technically they ARE required to get a signature on all packages, yet for some reason they don't. Usually with us regulars they feel comfortable just leaving the packages. I bet your pharmacy will redeliver no-charge, you are a long time customer and most of these compounding pharmacies are wonderful about keeping us happy Wish I could help, the thought of being out that amount of money is painful when we spend so much on our kiddos as it is. Good luck. (BTW Dylan is doing awesome!!! We are getting new, never before heard sounds!! Even consonant blends!!) Guest guest
I'm new to the whole B12 shot thing.. only having received one shipment so far. I used Lee Silsby pharmacy, and they told me exactly which day the shots would arrive. The shipper was DHL, and the shots came in the morning. A concern, given it gets dang hot in Texas in the summer and you don't want them to sit on a truck all day. Local moms have theirs compounded locally, but they are more expensive. Any one had problems with DHL or Lee Silsby? Thanks, ratlenhum@... wrote: I would be afraid the pharmacy would turn around and ask why you ordered shots if you knew you wouldn't be home to get them. Guest guest
I have been using b12 shots from Lee Silsby, for my 6yr old son since 6 months, with absolutely no problems. They pack it very well (freezer bags and stuff). Sathyaa b <anothersillyuserid@...> wrote: I'm new to the whole B12 shot thing.. only having received one shipment so far. Guest guest
, I had the same thing happen to me about 2 years ago! It wasn't with B 12, but with probiotics from Kirkman's that also said "Refigerate upon arrival". I called UPS and really gave it to the rep! I was fuming about this just like you. UPS did make good on the package, and paid Kirkman's to replace the probiotics! I think we need to be very vocal about this, so that they will stop being so lazy about our supplements. ALso, the pharmacy needs to know what happened because if this happens enough, they should really switch carriers to one that will be more resposible. Sheryl HELP!! MB-12 ????? I just got back from two days away at camp and I guess what I found atmy back door???? Drew's MB-12 shots!!! Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad MadMad Mad They had been delivered late Friday and sat in the hot sun fortwo days! Nice, huh?So.... I suppose that they are ruined now, huh? I just don'tunderstand why they would leave them!! It says right on the packageREFRIGERATE UPON ARRIVAL!! Mad Mad Mad Mad Shocked Shocked ShockedI guess I'm sh** out of luck huh?? 75.00 bucks down the drain! Is UPSresponsible for this???!! Of course I called and no one was around andno business hours tomorrow because of the holiday. I'll call Hopewelltomorrow and see what they say. Do you think I should be able to getmy money back somehow?? You would think that it would be theirresponsibility to hold onto the package and leave a note saying thatno one was there upon delivery and you can pick up your package atsuch and such a place where it is being refridgerated!!!! I thoughtthat's what they did for other packages. Unless, they don't do thatanymore!! Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Sorry to rage! I'm just a little P.O.'dright now!!
