Happy new year to you patty. I'm So sorry to hear your son will be going to

afghanistan. It must be awful. I had a loved one who was there in 06..and as a

mother it would be even harder I'm sure. I always pray for our troops.

Happy New Year!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's! I enjoyed meeting up with on

New Year's Eve, and had a wonderful lunch with her. I shared my DVD compilation

of the many news reports that were done on some of the girls in our group on MTV

and the local news channel that aired some reports on the whole FDA approval

event about a decade ago.

I'll be doing some detoxing programs starting as soon as I get back from saying

goodbye to my son in Reno this coming weekend. His National Guard unit is being

sent to Afghanistan for a year. It's so awful to contemplate, being a mother

with a son going off to war....

Hopefully my focus on detoxing will keep my mind focused on better things. I'll

be praying for sure.

Is anyone else starting any detox programs?
