Guest guest
Stan, My son is on OLE and just starting VS. His OAT and CSA tests through GPL were really great, low yeast markers, very mild inflammation, but his krebs cycle was slightly off (GPL said could be yeast). My DAN dr. doesn't think my son acts " yeasty " one bit, but I am concerned with all the anti-virals and anti-bacterial effects of OLE that we could get the yeast going. I am not sure if I would know what to look for if it happened. My son has high IgG titers for HHV6. I have not done the extensive panel through Immuno. Sc. but measles, CMV were not an issue. I have seen really great things on high dose (40drops) OLE. I am really hoping the VS, OLE and acyclovir combo will help eliminate the high titers, but no one has said it would. I am currently giving him 2 probiotics per day to help with any mild inflamation (per GPL suggestion). We are on 12 or so supplements total. What OTC yeast aid could I have on hand just in case and how might I recognize " yeast " if it rears its' ugly head? BTW: Congratulations on recovering Ethan! Guest guest
Some signs include white coating on the tongue, aggression, hyperactivity, tantrums, red cheeks, darkness or puffiness under the eyes, constipation or diarrhea, eczema, abnormal breath, distended belly, food limiting, food cravings like bread, complex carbs, milk, wheat products... crackers, cookies, etc... ear infections (sometimes... but my son didn't have any), if it's extreme you can sometimes find burning stool, and diaper rash, etc. Many children who don't look yeasty become highly yeasty for a period of time during antiviral therapy. I wouldn't risk it. Yeast is nasty stuff. - Stan > > Stan, > > My son is on OLE and just starting VS. Guest guest
And what I mean by not risking it... I mean don't risk doing it without a real antifungal. - Stan > > Stan, > > My son is on OLE and just starting VS.
