My children exhibit a high igg FOR ebv. i HAVE BEEN TOLD vALTREX is helpfulL for herpes etc. but my Dan does not believe it will necessairly be hlpful forEBV. Next question, does anyone know an other antiviral that works against this virus? Ole? thanks tracy Mydaughter was on valtrex for 8 months about a year and a half ago but oour DAN at the time did not uncover the EBV so I do not know if she had been exposed when she toook the valtrex initially or if she was exposed afterward. currently she reveals high EBV igg. so either the valtrex ndid not work. for her EBV or she had not been exposed at the time she took the meds any other experience with this? thanks again tracy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
