Guest guest
Hey Zoe & - back to my original question! lol. I may have missed it in the millions of emails bombarding me from this group lately, lol, but is the way to produce a thick, healthy baby to put a small one into a quart mason of KT (or fresh tea?) and let it go for several weeks? I have a friend waiting for one, I want to give her a good thick baby...and I also want to back myself up. I have several babies and a mama (one inch) waiting for your answers! Thanks. > > I was referring to the size of the jar- not the scoby. > The size of the scoby will affect the amount of time required to brew. > BUT a larger scoby does NOT require more tea etc. > Your scoby will adapt to the size of the container you are using. > > I have dropped just a small piece in to start and the baby would fill the container after a time. > zoe > > > <<, I have not found that the size of the container has any effect on brewing time- >> > > > Zoe, > > > I am new and was just trying to figure and research this very > > thing. Are you saying that it doesn't matter the volume of tea I use with each? > > > It seemed logical to me that the larger one would require more tea > > and a bigger jar. Would you please clarify this for me?
