Guest guest
Lucy, you lost 20 pounds of fat of 5 weeks and you're feeling unmotivated?? Come on, that's a brilliant start. Look at what you have accomplished and get re-focused. It must be an isolating to feel like " the only one in UK doing BFL " , but just remember, you aren't really any more isolated than many of us here. We all communicate via the Net: many of us have met and many more of us haven't. Look at it it like this, you are our British representative and we expect great things of you! So pump up those tyres and get going. All the best, Leaner.
Guest guest
I think its week number 5 that is tuff! I'm going through a unmotivated time right now and its week 5. I'm trying to push through it but I don't feel so excited about this anymore. I'm not about to quit I know this is just another phase of the abyss! Has anyone else noticed week 5 seems kind of tuff?? -Tess > 's message certainly hit home with me. > I was so pleased with the progress that I had made in the first 5 weeks > (lost 20lbs of fat) that it is really hard to admit that every day since > then I have been slipping. > I have allowed myself to become completely unfocused and my eating has > become terrible. > 's post came at the right time, as did my copy of Muscle Media, so time > to re do all my goals and aims and re-motivate myself. > Because I am in UK I do feel very isolated, and it is a great bonus to have > this amazing point of contact. > In years to come BFL will be huge over here and I can swan around saying, " > Oh yeah, I have been doing that for years and don't I look great " LOL > Lucy
Guest guest
Wow , what a great post! And yes, Laury is a wonderful inspiration, one of life's real heroes. Thank you for portraying your opinion so eloquently. Speaking of inspiration, your wife ranks right up there too. Sometimes it takes courage to be " different " at work and risk criticism and catty remarks. It's great to see a woman with the courage to rise above it all and remain an example to others. Obviously BFL wasn't your only good decision in life!! All the best, Leaner.

Guest guest
Hi ! Thanks for all your kind remarks about my post - and about my wife. I didn't mention it in my post, but I should have, that out of all my heroes, my wife is the ultimate in my book! :-) I count myself fortunate every day, that I found her. Guest guest
Thanks everyone for the motivation! It's great to hear that I'm not alone. I'll push though all this and come out stronger. It's definatly time to change my workout and find new goals in order to find my enthusiasm again. Thanks again everyone for the insight I'm ready to be a mean lean muscle machine! Woo hoo! -Tess > Wow ! > > Awesome advice about overcoming the adversity of week 5. > > If anyone on the list hasn't yet read 's post on this thread about week 5 - read it.
