Guest guest
Hi Stan and all, I am new to this group. I first want to thank you for speaking at the DAN conference in October and all of your efforts with this group. Your efforts are helping my daughter and I am very grateful. My daughter Geena is 4 years old. We started Valtrex 29 days ago and feel this is the most improvement we have seen so quickly. Her symptoms include very tactile defensive, low muscle tone, weaker on left side of her body, sensory motor integration difficulties, rough skin, cold hands and feet, poor bowel movements and can’t gain weight. She weighs 30 pounds on a good day. She has high Ep stein-Barr viral titers. We put her on Nizarol for two weeks, two weeks prior to starting Valtrex-500 mg twice a day. We started to see some increase in speech with the Nizarol. We have been seeing a lot of positive changes in Geena. We feel Valtrex has helped her the most out of any intervention we have done. She is talking more, better receptively, much better motor planning, stronger, she wants to play more and even play with me more. J Question-I have read posts about adding Diflucan. I understand this, but am concerned since Geena is on Nasal B12, TD-DMPS, Valtrex supplements and on SCD diet. Are there many children doing all these things at once? Maybe we can rotate Diflucan and Nizarol since she seemed to do well on Nizarol. Also the past 4 days Geena has had 3 bowel movements per day? Maybe Valtrex is helping her chelate better?
