Guest guest
Hi , Can I ask how long you kept your son on the Diflucan? and how did you know it was time to stop? Thanks, Sheryl (just getting ready to add in the Diflucan) Re: How much Diflucan? Kerrie,Though I think a Dr should be involved for Diflucan dosing, I will tell you that my 38lb 3.8 yr old did best at 50mg 2 x a day. I believe Dr McCandless suggests dosing twice a day, where as some DAN's say once a day (in which case I have seen some do 75mg or 100mg for similar poundage). I think the twice a day dosing was critical for my son. I have tried it both ways.- In mb12 valtrex , ratlenhum@... wrote:>> I've searched through old posts and can't seem to find anything that says > just how much Diflucan I should give. Guest guest
Sheryl, It depends. If we are chelating 3 on 4 off, I don't like to do more than 10 days of diflucan (once his liver enzymes started to climb right after a diflucan/chelation round together. If yeast is really bad, we skip a chelation round or two and go 14-21 days of diflucan. We are always on something, usually nystatin, but work diflucan into the mix about every 2 mos. Same with Nizoral, Flagyl, and arsenal of naturals. My guy is a true gut kid and I am sure 15 mos. of chelation is only aggrevating it! We do the best we can do! -- In mb12 valtrex , " The Schwartz Family " <ams1088@...> wrote: > > Hi , > > Can I ask how long you kept your son on the Diflucan? and how did you know it was time to stop? > > Thanks, > Sheryl (just getting ready to add in the Diflucan) > Re: How much Diflucan? > > > Kerrie, > Though I think a Dr should be involved for Diflucan dosing, I will > tell you that my 38lb 3.8 yr old did best at 50mg 2 x a day.
