This was actually from a couple of weeks ago. I thought I had already sent it. Sorry for the delay.

Someone on one of the Autism lists that I have been following mentioned it. I have it as one of my daily cartoons on my home page. See if this works for you -

The couple has 5 kids - 2 older (boy and girl), a 4 (?) year old named Seth who has been diagnosed with Autism and newborn twins. Seth was diagnosed several months ago. About 1 in 7 cartoons focuses on Seth.

The thing that burns me is the people who don't say anything they just glare at you smugly. They are so much better than you. I actually walked by someone with that look on their face and said "autism is a wonderful thing, isn't it?". Their response was 'huh?'. Not nearly as graceful as they thought they were.

Montague-Reyes has been trying to get more autism awareness for a while now. The strips where the wife was pregnant and discussing the autism dx of her son were unbelievable. She's a wonderful writer and I enjoy her comic strip.

I just check every day and keep sending unbounce messages. I may go a week without bouncing and then bounce every day for 2 or 3 weeks.

If you have mail go to my. sign in with your email address and you can customize what you want on your page. I have comics (being the child that I am) - Clear Blue Water is one of my comics that I have to log on every day to see.

If you go to ucomics.com you can read them online free, but if you want them emailed to you, I think you have to pay.

I know what you mean. One day I was sitting in a crowded waiting room with Lexi and it was right after she was diagnosed. Lexi couldn't handle the crowd and just started crying and fussying and hittingherself. Thelady beside me asked if I could take her out because Lexi was stressing her out. It told her if she couldn't deal with it then SHE needed to leave.

Sorry for the delayed response. My local paper does not carry this strip.

I wish I remembered who on which Autism list recommended this cartoon

strip.

I have to read it on line on my home page. But you can also read it

Another incident was during the last Harry Potter movie. My hubby wanted everyone to go and I knew lexi wouldn't be able to tolerate it but we went. About 30min into the movie Lexi was going ballistic. Finally a lady said "can't you get that brat out of here?" I was so ticked off!!

never sure what to do with those people who just give you that " look "

- the look like " why cant you control your kid " or the

that-kid-needs-a-good-spanking look.

Yea I get that a lot too. One day I was in Kroger with Lexi and she was in

one of the kids carts. She looked down and some how a tree frog had hitched

a ride on the cart and Lexi went ballistic!! We got the frog off and back

outside but Lexi was over the top already. So I went to check out and three

people behind me left and the lady in front of me told me to shut her up

because Lexi was giving her a migraine

That is unbeliveably rude! I don't blame her for not wanting to

listen to a kid cry during a movie, but geeez, manners! I had my son

with me in a theater and he was screaming before the movie started,

and a man behind me very politely asked if I would take him out if

he kept it up during the movie. I said I would, but I knew he'd calm

down when the movie started and I was right.

There's just a right way and a wrong way to handle these things, and

her way was definitely wrong!
