LIZ,, now as I have said everywhere I have responded to this ,,, you will feel so much better when you get this done.. remember when we worked on the ambulance,, we saw many ppl who needed those and they always did better after they had the pacemaker implanted,,, so you make them do it soon,,, When are you having another PCR? WE ARE going to hope and pray for SVR,, even with the short time you had treatment,, it DOES happen hon,, But we also have to remember that its ALL in God's hands anyway,, so what will be will be.. love you, gotta go, be back later,, meelizabethnv1 <elizabethnv1@...> wrote: I was discharged from the hospital . I dont have time to wait for new treatments , my stage and grade along with worsening heart problems makes me very aware of what can happen . I am not gonna worry anymore about it

You came back from the hospital, just like I asked. Now I ask that God give you a more positive vision for your future. Attitude can make all the difference. The Hepatologist did you a favor, and it was part of the plan. You will be fine. You are too loved for any other outcome. :) Honest, it will be ok. Say the word and I'll get the spare room ready, and make you an appointment with my doctor. But before you take the flight I think you should give your heart time to stablize. I am neither positive or negative hun , just being realistic . Now if in the near future they have a treatment that doesnt include the riba or interferons I will jump on it . I am happy with my life and just plan on living each day as they come ....but I will no longer worry about treating . This disease has taken to many years of my life , now its time for me to just plain ole be happy

I didn't think you'd be packing your cases... but if you change your mind, know that you are welcome. The last I heard there should be news out the end of this month with preliminary data on AVI's treatment for HCV. This is a stand-alone treatment with no side effects that required intervention. Hang in there baby!elizabethnv1 <elizabethnv1@...> wrote: LOL thanks but I dont think I am going to be traveling anywhere for awhile .. That's great Liz! Please let me know if and when you're coming, what part of China you will be visiting, etc. I'd love to meet you and show you around Shenzhen if you're headed this way. Ever eaten snake? Since I came here I really opened my mind to different foods. Most of the paprts of animals that we trow out in America are actually pretty tasty when cooked properly. I don't know of any Americans that have eaten kidney pie, but I'd heard of the dish. Yesterday I let my friends order dinner, as I normally do, since they can read the menu and I can't. We had one dish that I didn't recognize so I asked what it was. After drawing shapes of various organs, I think it was kidneys and spleens, both from pigs, and both very good. Liver has always been one of my favorites, but lately I'm wondering if it is too high in iron to be good for me. I still love it in "zhou", which is what the Chinese call Congee or rice

porridge. Hmmm All this talk about food made me hungry. I'm off to lunch. Again Liz, I'm so glad that you are back among us! My cardiac problem involves the electrical conduction of the heart beats , mine isnt beating fast enough to oxygenate my brain . When I was admitted my heart rate was 45 , and my ekg shows iscemia( and a prolonged Q-T) but with oxygen and nitropaste it has helped to return my heart rate to 70 beats a minute . This is the third time in 16yrs that I have had this same problem . Hopefully it will be a few more years before I need a pacemaker , but somehow with my luck I dont think I can wait that long .... I have stopped treatment of course . It's a pleasure having you join in our conversations. We hope you have found the support you need with us. If you are using email

I don't want to make you barf, but they even eat the fish's eyes. I only did it once, and found that they have no real taste, a very bad feel in the mouth, and something round and solid, that I was afraid to chew, so I spit it out. I recently saw a National Geographic Special about eating bugs and stuff. One scientist made the point that all animal protein is about the same. But to watch them eat the living grub worms was about all I could take. Hmmm... reading what I've written, maybe I do want to make someone barf. But hey, its only words on the page. How about eating liver though??? I seem to remember that the liver is a great source for iron. Is eating liver hard on our own? Eat well, sleep well, be well!elizabethnv1 <elizabethnv1@...> wrote: EWWWWWWWWW , hahahaha the thought of eating liver makes me wanna barf ,lol Re: I have to have a pacemaker LIZ,, now as I have said everywhere I have responded to this ,,, you will feel so much better when you get this done.. remember when we worked on the ambulance,, we saw many ppl who needed those and they always did

Toxic plants??? What kind of garden do you have? Do you mean you think the plants caused the heart problems? If you have been gardening, it is more likely that you came in contact with some man made toxins. Perhaps something used to kill weeds or insects, or some kind of fertilizer. I lost my Irish Setter because my neighbor used too much weed killer, and a heavy rain formed a toxin filled puddle in my yard where Scarlet stayed during the day. She must have drank water from the puddle. Best dog I ever had...elizabethnv1 <elizabethnv1@...> wrote: I keep thinking that maybe I came in contact with some toxic plants , cause I have been doing my gardening lately . . Hiya Eliz, I don't think a pacemaker is a bad thing, in fact, I think it's a good thing. It's something that will stablize your heartbeats without the need for medication and your worries about another episode will subside. But remember no more huge rides at the themeparks...lol. I think it's terrific that they can do things like that, years ago my g/f's son was born with an irregular heartbeat, they thought it was just a murmer, but later found out it wasn't. They admitted him to Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia, put a pacemaker in and he is now 26, never had a problem at all, I think he was about 11 months when they did it. So....don't give up...I always said we were put here to be tested...our faith, our strengths and our love.... Hugs,. elizabethnv1 <elizabethnv1@...> wrote: I dont have time to wait for new treatments , my stage and grade along with worsening heart problems makes me very aware of what can happen . Eating liver is a high source of iron , and for us patients with hepatitis c it can cause a problem . I have iron overload so I stay away from iron rich foods . Excess iron is harmful cause it can deposit itself in the tissue of the liver , kidneys , and heart leading to organ failure if left untreated .
