I've done transfer factor in high doses for my son and myself and I can't get

anything out

of it. I did read the studies of a 437% gain in natural killer cell activity

and I have physician

friends who really believe in it... but I just can't get anything from it as

much as I would

like to. MB12... a whole-nother story. Someone with a viral throat infection

and if they

are a responder to MB12...BAM! It's gone in minutes... I'm not kidding you.

Maybe others will report in with amazing TF stories, but I haven't had any thus

far.

Both myself and my 3 kids used TF for over a year, with no visible change in immune function. We switched to Xymogen IgG 2000DF, though, and in one more year, we were able to correct a pretty severe IgG immune deficiency.Stan Kurtz <kurtzstan@...> wrote: I've done transfer factor in high doses for my son and myself and I can't get anything out of it. I got some TF last year for my son. I figured I'd try it on myself first and see what happens. I liked the idea of boosting the immune system. I'm not sure if its coincidence or not, but 6 weeks after I started taking TF I started being stiff and had lots of pain. A month later I couldn't walk, could barely move my hands and was so swollen I couldn't get dressed. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. An auto immune disorder. My rheumatologist said its basically your immune system in overdrive fighting off your own tissue. Nice huh??

Any relation, I dont know but needless to say my son isn't getting a spec of TF!!!

I tried both origional and TF Plus. I tried it on myself and my son both in

normal states

and when just getting sick with a cold. I don't believe it does anything

notable for my son

and I.

MB12 is methylcoblamain

B12 can be a combination of vitamins but typically it's cynocobalamin... a

totally different

vitamin.

MB12 does not seem to work well orally. There is more detailed explanations in

the Files

Section of this group about the different types of administration of MB12.

Just wanted to add, TF and TF Plus did nothing for my daughter,

Ariana. She was on it (high dose) for six months.

We haven't given our ASD son Transfer Factor, but I have used it

occasionally to to ward off colds. For fighting cold symptoms it

worked really well, but I only took it in the morning as taking it at

night would keep me from sleeping.

Just wanted to share some experience. I personally believe

vitamins/medications should never be taken routinely (not referring

at all to ASD recovery)
