Guest guest
Hello Group, As you may have read my hubby was diagnosed two years into our marriage with Hep C. His doctor said I should be tested so I spilled my blood for them and they said I was negative. The doctor said it was very hard for a spouse to get the Hep C virus unless my hubby bled onto an open sore then I had nothing to worry about. I've been feeling very low, no energy, depression, and it feels like a small balloon is up under my right ribs that extends downward towards my kidney. When I lay down, especially on my right side, I have the weirdest feeling on the inside of my right ribs. It feels like a muscle spasm without pain. A " warbling " sort of feeling. I just can't explain it very well but I have laid with my hand over my ribs to see if it was my muscle over the ribs but I can't feel anything on the surface so it has to be inside my ribcage. My husband has very thin blood and I have had to doctor him up when he's bleeding like a stuck pig. I never reach for gloves, who has time when he's pouring blood on the living room floor? I don't believe his blood contaminate me like that. But we have shared drinks, toothbrushes (once on vacation), and utensils. I was also eating Ibuprofen and Tylenol for weeks like candy to stave off arthritis and headaches. I would end up taking more than the recommended dosages, always. I get migraines so I just keep taking stuff until I either pass out or die...at that moment I don't care which I do. I feel like I have been really stupid. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If you recommend a test for Hep C what should I ask my doctor to perform and to look for? Should we see a specialist and what kind is there for Hep C? Thanks for listening to me whine for awhile. I'm just a little scared and whole lot worried! Gentle hugs to all, Cyn
