There is one word, in my mind, that best captures the progress revealed by

your before and after pictures:

WOW!

Great job! You look terrific. And the photography for your after shots is

very professional.

okay people... here are my befores and afters. I can't believe I'm showing

you my befores, I thought I would never dare show them to anyone.... =)but,

since I haven't met any of you in person, I figured you can't see me blush.

I guess, there is a bit of a change after a 17.5 fat loss and a 5.6 lb

muscle gain... I'm still not where I wanna be, so I've already signed up for

the second challenge.

Wow Merced, You look gorgeous. Well done. You look completely transformed

and so happy! Great leg definition and I love the pic of you flexing your

The compliment was horribly inadequate but I think you got the gist of

it. You did so incredibly well - I'm sure you're on cloud 9!

Well I know I've changed a bit. My pants are super loose (I can fit

into a pair 2 sizes smaller) but it's not really evident from view or

on the scale (but the scale is evil so we won't even think about it).

However, I've only got a few weeks left in this challenge and I know I

won't come anywhere near to achieving my goals. It's disappointing

but at the same time I've learned a lot. So this challenge is

basically a warm-up for me. I've had time to figure out what works

and what doesn't, time to get used to hitting the gym every day and

time to begin learning how to eat healthy. I'll start another one

October 1st (I don't get back from vacation till september 17th).

What I'm definately going to need is someone to help me with meal

planning. I did ok in the nutrition department but I know I could

have done a lot better and I'm 100% sure that it's why I didn't lose

as much fat as I could have (or put on as much lean mass as I could

have). I've got all these " authorized recipes " and stuff but I'm a

pretty busy guy - cooking time is limited. I need help to set up like

a weekly food schedule - if I have it I'll stick to it. Otherwise I

get home from work (usually after my workout), look in the fridge

(seeing nothing appetizing) and end up having something I probably

shouldn't.

Thanks. I still have time to reach my goals... I promised myself that

2000 would be the year I reinvent myself. Starting a new challenge

oct 1 will be the way I end up doing it.

Wanna know my secret goal? Someday... I want to be in an

inspirational photo in MuscleMedia. =B-)
